About this programme

Who can apply

  • Citizenship of Colombia and receipt of the named partner funding are required. Joint-programme eligibility must be checked with tuitionfees@aalto.fi.

  • Fee liability is not decided by nationality alone. Exempt Finnish permits include P, P-EU, an EU-family-member card held personally, EU Blue Card, withdrawal-agreement SEU/P-SEU and valid unrevoked temporary protection. Type A on non-study grounds can exempt, except where the first Finnish permit was for study or the relevant family member originally entered for study; Type A for study is fee-liable. Family ties to a Finnish citizen or permanent resident can exempt. The permit must be valid on 1 August; changed status must be reported.

What the funding covers

  • 25% tuition reduction for the normal programme duration. This university discount is separate from the partner’s scholarship/loan package.

Documents to prepare

  • Supply both sides of the valid Finnish residence permit and a passport or national ID showing citizenship, where relevant. The page’s named permit conditions must be assessed individually.
