Know what stays in your browser.

Staying signed in

Effikos uses essential session cookies for personal and administrator sign-in. Personal and administrator sessions are separate. Signing out ends the relevant session; blocking essential cookies may prevent account features from working.

Drafts on this device

Choosing “Save on this device” stores calculator data in that browser. Starting sign-in from a calculation can also create a temporary local handoff. This does not save your grades permanently to your account; account saving requires an explicit action.

You can remove a draft with the calculator controls or clear site data in your browser. Clearing browser data does not delete workbooks already saved to your account.

Security and sign-in providers

Google reCAPTCHA protects forms outside local development. Google and Apple may process browser information when you use their sign-in services. Their own notices apply to their services. With analytics consent, Google Analytics measures visits and engagement on public pages using browser/device information and approximate location. Its _ga cookies can persist for up to 180 days. Account, admin and authentication pages are excluded; we do not send grades or course names. Google’s own privacy notice applies. Analytics only with consent is enabled.

Remembering your choice

We store your cookie choice in this browser under effikos:cookie-consent for up to 180 days. It contains a policy version, the time of your choice and optional-purpose settings, not your grades or account details. Google Analytics is optional and loads only after you accept analytics. Advertising remains disabled. If we introduce a new optional purpose, we will ask again before it is enabled.

Your choices

Manage cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Read Privacy for account data and deletion controls, or contact us with a question. You can reopen Cookie settings from any page. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice lasts for the current visit only; optional tracking stays off unless you accept analytics for that visit.
